Great spirit in the room, especially when I challenged them to “Fight Forward!”
Emily’s List president Stephanie Schriock–who is doing a fantastic job of growing the organization and energizing the troops.
What an honor to be introduced by Congresswoman Gwen Moore (D-WI). She’s quite a hoot as is evident here, but could not be more serious in her commitment to women’s rights. As a survivor of sexual abuse, she told her powerful story on the floor of the house to urge her colleagues to vote for the Violence Against Women Act.
